Summary:
Woojin IS America (WISA) is seeking a detail-oriented Material Management Specialist to oversee inventory and material logistics for various rail projects. This role is essential in ensuring the timely availability of materials while optimizing costs and reducing waste.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to the production line in alignment with production schedules and operational requirements.
  • Manage inventory levels to align with production needs, ensuring material availability at the right time and place.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and spot checks to maintain accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and efficiency in handling repetitive tasks.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with teams.
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
  • Experience with Forklift is preferred.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and follow structured workflows.
Employment Information:
This position is on-site 5 days per week at our office in Santa Fe Springs
Compensation:  $20 - $25/hour
